I started this ‘update’ malarkey with good intentions, but unfortunately the last few months it completely slipped my mind so here I am trying to reserect my monthly update because I have some pretty exciting news that I really wanted to share!
Let’s start with the most exiting update – I opened my Etsy shop!! It took me a long time to perfect the coloured concrete plant pots that I sell and a fair amount of time sourcing the beautiful plants that fill the pots but it’s finally live. I will be adding bits to the shop bit by bit and am just really intrigued to see what happens! It’s been a steep learning curve and I know there is a hell of a lot more to know about the selling platform but I am thrilled to be making a good use of my love of plants!
If you are thinking about shopping small this Christmas then I would love you to check out my shop here, I am obviously biased but I think these plants and pots would make the perfect gifts!
Real Life Lines
The. Best. Instagram. Account. Ever. I’ve been desperate to mention this account on here somewhere because it is so inspiring, hilarious and original! Charly Clements the illustrator behind @reallifelines takes photographs from her favourite makers and overlays her genius illustrations to depict ‘real life’ scenes and each and every photo leaves me chuckling to myself. There isn’t much more I can say other than head over to Charlys page and spend a good half hour enjoying her brilliant talent!
The reason this month has completely flown for me is our week long trip abroad, we left at the beginning of November and returned and suddenly it was approaching the end of November and everything felt a hell of a lot more festive! Anyway we took the dreamiest holiday to the Maldives, a place I never imagined I would be lucky enough to visit. Tom found some ridiculously cheap flights online so we headed out for a week of pure sunshine and sea salt and it couldn’t have been more incredible; snorkeling with tropical fish, lazing around on my inflatable donut and eating my body weight in ice cream. Please take me back!
This weeks post was originally supposed to be a DIY Pallet Christmas Tree but unfortunately the tree isn’t quite finished so that’s hopefully going to be up next week followed by a few other festive posts but for now you can take a look at this DIY scandi style star decoration from last year – I will definitely be whipping this one out again this year!
So November is over which basically means it’s Christmas now right? I love the run up to Christmas, all the excitement in the air and a complete sense of chaos, easily the best time of the year! Do you have any Christmas DIYs planned?
