I can’t deny that Instagram is my jam, I love being able to connect with like-minded individuals and brands easily and free of any real commitment. Although the platform has been hailed by some as ‘fake,’ I adore seeing a curated version of someone’s life and being inspired by the beautiful visuals that Instagram is renowned for, plus needing a good backlog of Instapics is the perfect excuse to go for coffee, cake and a wander around the prettiest nearby neighborhood! In the vast sea of stunning feeds it is impossible to pick favourites but I thought I would share some of the Instagram accounts that never fail to inspire me.
If photos of cacti and succulents get you double taping then you will love geo_fleur, an online plant shop which stocks on trend, stunning plant pots. The aesthetic of the Geo Fleur photos catch my interest every time I am scrolling through Instagram and have me itching to join their #plantpostclub, where they send you through a new parcel of green goodness every month!
Whenever I visit The Hambledon in Winchester I feel like I’ve stepped straight into Instagram perfection, with open shelving stacked out with glassware, enamel pots and the odd swan planter, it’s no wonder their feed is to die for. I’m lucky enough to live close enough to the store that I can pop in whenever I need a home update or just a dose of interior inspiration but if you don’t live in Hampshire then make sure you check out their Instagram, you may just find yourself booking a weekend away to Winchester. P.S I’m not even ashamed to admit I did a little fan-girl dance when The Hambledon re-grammed one of my photos!
Cats, plants, flat lays and tea, I absolutely adore Kaitlin’s aesthetic and spend way too long scrolling her feed wishing I had her photography skills and eye for detail. When choosing my favorite photos of Kaitlin’s for this post, I genuinely wanted to use more than six because I could simply not decide which were best. Oh and did I mention she is a total babe?
Emma is a font of knowledge for all things illustration and graphic design, her blog and Instagram accounts have led me to discover countless artists that I would otherwise have been oblivious of. I love Emma’s use of colour and pattern, her photos are an amazing contrast to some of the other washed out, calm feeds I follow.
So, Alresford Linen is another shop that is fairly local to me, the store is a combination of launderette and lifestyle store which I thought odd until I stepped into the shop. Alresford Linen stocks a variety of beautiful, bright homeware that are unlike any other homeware store I’ve stumbled across and their Instagram account never fails to brighten my day. Plus the resident cat is amazing, it sits on the countertop like it runs the place!
That is just a small snippet of the Instagram feeds I love, there are so many more that are worth a follow but we can save that for another day, after all Instagram is the platform of continual discovery. Oh and if you want to connect with me on Instagram you can find me here!
