Jars are something I seem to accumulate in large numbers, don’t get me wrong, I love them, but I’m running out of space in my home for ornimental jars. Which is why I decided to put together some ideas for making use for jars and pots.
In the Bedroom
Recently I’ve been keeping a jar of all my nighttime essentials such as hand creams, night creams and lip balms on my bedside table, having these things packed neatly into a jar reduces the clutter on your bedside and if you are anything like me, it will stop your products going walkabouts in the night.
In the Bathroom
Airtight jars are a great addition to a bathroom cabinet, they keep bath salts bombs and other toiletries dry, look much nicer than some bath product packaging and keep your cabinets organised.
In the Kitchen
Having a set of jars for all your kitchen staples such as pasta, grains and cereals is so handy for organising your cupboards. Not only does it look attractive, it helps you keep on top of your food stocks so you can easily gauge when you are running out of something. If I had the money, I would buy IKEA out of their airtight jars!
In the Office
We are all stationery addicts here, right?! I’m sure I don’t need to the excitement over a jar of pens, but having a tidy office is integral to productivity, I find if I’ve got pens and notebooks scattered over my desk I get easily distracted (doodling with said pens!).
If you have any more ideas of how to style jars let me know in the comments!
